Meals and produce for your holiday feasting

Food is a major part of life here at Quinta das Abelhas and we spend much of our time growing, harvesting, preserving and preparing it. We're passionate about our food, where it comes from and how it is produced.

Andy's the chief cook and makes delicious evening meals. Kirsten prepares breakfasts and lunches.

Breakfast

Home-made bread, butter, home-made jam/marmalade, eggs, fresh fruit (in season), tea, coffee or hot chocolate can be served to you in your yurt or the ingredients left in the kitchen caravan for you to prepare yourself.
- 5 euros per person.

Lunch

Home-made bread, cheese, our own organic olives and freshly-picked organic salad (can be packed as a picnic lunch for you to take on a day out).
- 7 euros per person.

Evening Meal

You can share our evening meal with us, 2 courses plus wine (please let us know in advance of any dietary requirements).
May - August only
- 10 euros per person

Self-Catering

Our own home-grown seasonal organic produce is available for sale, and we also have a stock of "basics" (rice, pasta, flour, sugar, etc), beer and wine for sale on the farm. There is a village shop (15 mins walk), and a weekly market (Sunday morning) and supermarkets in Tábua (5 mins drive).
