Quinta das Abelhas is just 15 minutes walk from the Rio Mondego and you can find many secluded spots along its sandy shores which are perfect for sunbathing, swimming, fishing, kayaking, and nature-spotting. There are many other river beaches nearby (look for signs to "Praia Fluvial") and most have café-bars serving drinks, snacks and ice creams in the summer months. There are 15 just in the Arganil area!

Guided Walking Tours

Hiking tours with Leen Van Melle. Leen will take you to the most beautiful spots in the Serra da Estrela or in the neighbourhood. You can choose a walk taking a couple of hours or a trek of a couple of days. There are walks for beginners and experienced hikers.

40 euros a day for up to 4 persons / 60 euros per day for more than 5 persons. Food and transport not included.
